The Fire is initially focused on offering Motorbike Expeditions of 7–15 days, or longer if requested. As not everyone can always commit to longer journeys, 1–5 day journeys will also be offered.
And the journey doesn't always happen on two wheels. When the terrain demands it, we'll leave the bikes behind and travel by horseback, raft, canoe or on foot.
Picture riding dirt bikes through the remote plains of Mongolia for a week to the Darkhad Valley, before leaving the bikes behind and joining local Darkhad horsemen for the next four days, riding deep into the remote valleys and steppe of northern Mongolia. Hunting and eating by the fire with them at night and learning about their culture.
Or dirt biking through the jungles of Northern Laos before building bamboo rafts to navigate the stunning Nam Ou River - sleeping in hammocks each night on the riverbank, learning to make fire with flint and friction, catching and preparing our own food, cooking over the flames and developing bushcraft and survival skills along the way.
The motorbike is just the ‘vehicle’ or the tool we use to go Into The Unknown - and by that I mean physically, internally and mentally.
But it won't be the only vehicle we use to get there.
